Pros and cons of WOOP app app for iPhone and iPad
WOOP app app good for
Couldnt quite figure out how to see past entries. But creating new entries is easy and intuitive. Would be nice if there was a feedback feature...did you complete the goal you set for yourself?
After listening to the author on the PBSs Hidden Brain podcast, I downloaded the app. It is an simple and clean app to employ the WOOP techniques to achieve your goals. I recommend it!
Some bad moments
This app isnt really IPad friendly, and we need a mini tutorial on how the app really works.
I installed this on IOS 9.0.1 and it takes forever to load, can somebody fix this ?
This is crazy! This app, which is based on scientific findings, really works in helping me achieve my goals. I use the app on a daily basis to organize my plans and to get what I need to do done. I 100% recommend!
I really like this app and the ideas behind it, but Im very sorry to say that there is a small but frustrating problem with the design of the app itself that is preventing me and probably other people from enjoying it.
This app makes one of the most fundamental mistakes an app can make: it requires login every single time its opened. This is particularly frustrating for use on a phone, where typing in a username and password is very annoying and tedious.
I literally opened the app, used it for a few minutes, switched to a different app to check my email, and when I came back to this app 10 minutes later I had to login again. That is just bad design. Why does it even require a login at all? What am I logging into? Why not store everything locally? To compound the problem, the app doesnt even remember my username. Which means I have to type in my full email address and my password every single time I switch back to this app.
Please fix this with an update, and I will gladly come back and give a better review.
I really like the concepts outline here and I will give the a try but I dont think this app is going to be in the mix. Its just too buggy. It freezes often. Is slow to respond most the time. Its not complicated so I may see what I can do within some of other apps.
A very helpful daily ritual. The goal-setting process is terrifically wise and Im having great fun combining the imagining parts with AmbiScis binaurals and a little EFT. At first I couldnt seem to save my Woops to the List so I could refer to them later which itll be really helpful to do in the coming days/weeks/months but theyre all there now. Found them somehow by working through the Quick button.
